The kids will start coming in tomorrow evening. We are planning a wonderful 3, 4, 5 days together.
All of the meals are planned. But so far - NO baking has been done. None.
I need to get on it, I guess.
I did make a batch of "Snow" the other night. I was so hungry for something sweet. I saw it on someone's blog, it looked simple. It was delicious.
Popcorn, not buttered -- several cups
Melted white chocolate or white almond bark
1 cup pecans
1 cup craisins
Put popcorn, pecans and craisins on sheet pan. Drizzle white chocolate over everything. Let it set up completely. Keep in sealed carton or bag.
DEE - lish - us !!!
Try it -------
Gwynie Pie
I've made some candies, but no real "baking". The oven is kind of ka-flooey and it is hard to work with on something that needs to stay a consistent 350 like cookies.
ReplyDeleteThat snow sure sounds tasty! Have a wonderful Christmas! Jackie
ReplyDeleteOh we have a lot in common "Dearie" What a beautiful landscape! I came over to see your "bringing back holy" post. I like to read too. I enjoy Chan and Tozer. I laughed about dupster diving, I've totally done that! :)
ReplyDeleteMay I share the "snow" recipe on my food blog? Looks delicious and just happens to be gluten free for us allergy folk!
Do you know where the recipe originated? I would like to link there as well. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYour Christmas decor is lovely. Hope you had a wonderful time with your family. That popcorn recipe sounds yummy.
